Powdermills B & B - Inveraray

Breakfast offered a delicious range of options, but the dog fee felt a bit excessive at £30.

Very clean bed and peaceful location very close to the bridge to Skye. Well-equipped and nicely decorated unit with a comfortable decor.

Tbh, had an exceptional stay out of town. My dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. The room was well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with very clean bed and shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets in the bathroom.

The charming atmosphere at Powdermills B & B captured the essence of Scotland, surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland trails. The spacious Superior King Room offered a fantastic view of Loch Fyne, and breakfast was a good experience with a delicious range of homemade options.

The grounds were fine, perfect for a leisurely stroll. Our hosts were genuinely cute, and we enjoyed the lovely scones upon arrival. The detailed local tips from Johnny were just what we needed!

Honestly, the only thing missing was a personal assistant to carry my bags-I've never packed so many shoes! I think one of the dogs took my heart. Hope he remembers to send it back!

Make sure to take a stroll around the charming woodland trails nearby for a refreshing experience in nature.

A cozy stay by the loch

Sipping tea and enjoying homemade scones, I felt enveloped in warmth. The spacious Superior King Room offered lovely glimpses of Loch Fyne and was wonderfully comfortable, with the good hosts, Sue and John.

One minor downside was the location, being a scenic distance from Inveraray. The peaceful atmosphere and charm made the slightly inconvenient drive worthwhile.

The warm welcome with a tea tray and homemade scones added a personal touch, while the striking views of the nearby Loch Fyne from the room were a pleasant surprise. On the downside, the parking area could use better signage, and a more extensive dining guide for local restaurants would enhance the experience further. A minor concern arose over the extra charges for dog accommodation.

We had a fantastic time with incredible homemade scones on arrival and an absolutely top-notch breakfast that left us wanting more! Unfortunately, we did find the dog fee a bit steep.

The hosts were kind and helped us navigate the wonderful local woodlands. We adored the beautiful mountain view from our room, made mornings enchanting. Homemade scones on arrival were a lovely surprise and set a warm tone for our stay.

The room felt slightly dated and could benefit from some modernization.

The breakfast was exceptional and included delicious homemade cake and scones, all enjoyed with wonderful views, while the stunning location in beautiful grounds added to the overall experience.

The location was several miles from inveraray, just unacceptable when you consider I had to drive around until I spotted the tiny sign. Plus, the wifi couldn't handle a simple video call. I almost gave a good review-perhaps if I'd received a room upgrade for my troubles?

The surroundings are perfect for a leisurely stroll, especially around the nearby woods and fields. The hosts were super friendly, providing tailored recommendations and a good breakfast. The homemade coffee and fresh air made mornings special. Just a short drive to the village for dinner, it was the perfect getaway.

One downside was the wifi connection. It wasn't great, and I wouldn't recommend planning any work during your stay as it was patchy, mainly in areas away from cities.
